 ■ An ISO term.
  A series of characters used to identify a customer account or relationship. 28x.
  The remitting financial institution's account serviced by the receiving bank. 2*35x.
  The identification assigned by the account servicing bank to identify the account to the account owner.
  Often called the account number. The ISO prefers to use the term account identification.
